This song always reminds me of my brother when we were a bit younger. At the end of the video, there's a little dance that Bert McCracken does. My brother and I would get super into this song every time it came on and would do the dance. My brother and I have gone through a lot in our lives, but now is our time to shine. We can finally move past the crap and be the best we can be. He deserves a world of happiness.

TODAY I FELL AND FELT BETTER

You can't get up until you've fallen down. It fucking sucks to scrape up your knees, but it'll be a cool scar to tell a story about one day. Sometimes you just have to take things one step at a time and just gradually feel better each day. Granted, you will have a few days were you start to stumble again, but you'll eventually steady your feet again and pick up the pace. You just gotta keep your head up.

I JUST FEEL STRONGER AND SHARPER

I have the quote "Without struggle, there is no progress" tattooed on my shoulder blade. This lyric really goes hand-in-hand with the quote. You can either let something pull you down and consume you, or you can learn from it and become stronger. I look back to where I used to be and where I am now....it's astounding. Even if your life is great, there's someone else out there that might need a hand in their journey.

GLORIFIED BY WHAT IS OURS

Although this song has some great lyrics, it's fairly repetitive, which I'd usually hate, but it's a great song. It's very catchy and makes me happy. And the dance makes that much better. So go give it a listen.
