Sometimes I look back at who I used to be and I shutter at the thought. I used to be such a shitty person. I honestly don't recognize the old me. I'm constantly thriving to find new ways to improve myself. This is such an uplifting song that encourages me to do so.

When we've studied what seems like 100 hours for that huge test, when we've practiced that complicated verse of a song over and over, when we've memorized our lines....sometimes it's not enough. You felt so confident, you get up there and fuck it all up. It is literally the most devastating feeling. But there's always someone in your shoes as well that worked so hard and didn't slip up. While it sucks, imagine how happy they must feel. And let's face it, they probably deserved it to. But hey, next time is your time to shine. I can guarantee you'll hit the note, answer the question correctly, and absolutely nail the scene the next time. Sometimes the best way to learn is failure.

I think you can hear that in the sound of this album.'" Also the video contains concert footage from about 30 performances in 89 cities in 27 different countries.
