This is Gospel- Panic! at the Disco
"Don’t try to sleep through the end of the world and bury me alive, 'cause I won’t give up without a fight."
Pieces of Broken Memories
Can we talk about how beautiful this song is? It literally gave me goosebumps when I listened to it. I had already decided that I was going to write about this song today, and then they released a piano version today. MOTHER FUCKING GOOSEBUMPS FOR FOREVER. I just love how pure Brendon's voice is, and we get to see how musical he truly is. He can play every single part of this song on all the instruments! (Proof)
I could honestly listen to this song on repeat for days and not get annoyed of it. Why you ask? Because no matter the version I listen too I'm always left with this airy feeling. Something about the lyrics of this song just connect with me. I think it's the fact of this song being about letting the ones you love go. That saying has always resonated with me. It's always made perfect sense to me. It's just something I can't describe.
Led Away by Imperfect Impostors
This song is all about being scared to let someone go. So stop being afraid, it's time to just believe that it's the right thing to do. If something is meant to be, then it will happen. Don't force it. If someone is miserable what is the point of staying with them? Let them go and let them be happy. It's not that hard, I promise. My last relationship seemed pretty perfect, but towards the end I started seeing how different we were. They say opposites attract, which I totally agree with, but opposites don't generally actually work. They are always to many problems. This was happening with my relationship, and even though I loved him a lot, I let him go. I ended things because all I could see for us was fighting and heartbreak. Now we are actually much better off, we are still good friends, and we both are a lot happier than we used to be. Take some advice from the song, and let the people you love go.
