There's a Hole in my Heart Where You Used to be

You Be Tails, I'll be Sonic - A Day to Remember

I've been through some break ups before, and this has always been my all time favorite break up song. It's  kind of a happy break up song (if you need an angry break up song I recommend 1958) with insanely good lyrics. A lot of people go through a break up and listen to very angry or depressing music (if you want a depressing song, End of Me is a good choice), this song is good because it puts you in a good mood and it's more upbeat than a typical break up song.

I Couldn't Forget You if I Tried

Don't forget the insanely good lyrics as well,"I still wish you the best of luck baby and don't go thinking that this was a waste of time." While sometimes relationships do end poorly occasionally, a "fuck you don't ever talk to me again," is often not what is said, or what people are thinking. Unfortunately, most break up songs make break ups seem that way, or seem like the persons life has ended when that is obviously not the case. Break ups are sad, but there needs to be more music that showcases that people still can be friends, and not hate your ex.

Our Foundation Was Built on Sand

I don't know if it's just me but one of the hardest part of the end of a relationship is not being able to see your ex's family, or sometimes the friends that you have made together. "I miss your family and I miss all our friends," it can just be a combination of losing a significant other, and friends, and another family, all at one time. It takes time to get things back to normal, well more like to create a new normal. "When your gone, it's like a whole part of me's missing."
