I Don't Believe in Fairytales and No One Wants to Go to Hell

THE BEAST AND THE HARLOT-AVENGED SEVENFOLD

"She's a dwelling place for demons
She's a cage for every unclean spirit"

A FAR CRY FROM INNOCENCE

Harlot (n.): "a prostitute or promiscuous woman."
AKA slut. I wish I could walk around with "SLUT" stickers and just put them on everyone that needed to know that they were a slut.

HATRED STRIPS HER AND LEAVES HER NAKED

This video is one of their best videos. It's great. And it totally has nothing to do with the demonic lesbian scene. Okay, maybe it does. But there's lots of other cool crap in it, like some of this stuff:

Only in Death Will we Rise

A Vague Memory - A Change of Pace

"A poetic tragedy falls upon your doorstep as you wake, Confide in your friends and family to wash this pain away"

This song is by far the most depressing song by A Change of Pace, and also my favorite lyrics by them, surprise surprise. Most of their songs are really upbeat and happy, so this song is definitely not usual for them. I think this is a lot of the reason it is so popular for them, it is a completely different genre than they usually stick to but it is still is a good song. The lyrics are intriguing, I feel like they could be interpreted in many different ways. More people need to listen to this completely underrated band.

We're the new Face of Failure

I'm Like A Lawyer With The Way I'm Always Trying To Get You Off (Me & You)-Fall Out Boy

"The best way to make it through with hearts and wrists intact is to realize two out of three ain't bad."
Fall Out Boy has been known to have a story behind their music videos.  In 2009 when they released the video for "I'm Like a Lawyer With the way I'm Always Trying to get you Off" it was easy to see that this video had an even bigger meaning to it.

I See You Lying Next to Me

FAMOUS LAST WORDS-MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE

"I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home"

BUT WHERE'S YOUR HEART?

You should always follow your heart. Unless your brain is telling you that you're a god damn idiot. Do what makes you happy in life. Don't do what everyone expects of you. People said I was "wasting" my potential because I'd rather pursue baking and pastry for a living versus sitting in a cubicle all day. Quite frankly, I'd blow my brains out if I did that, which is why I'm doing something I love and will never tire of. To me, that is not a waste of potential. I may not make as much money and whatnot, but I'll be doing what I love, and that's worth more than all of the money in the world.

Draw me a Story Tell me a Picture

Somedays Gone- All-American Rejects

"What makes you so damn sure that you’re worth it huh? You’re just a bad trip"
Has there ever been anyone you've wanted so bad, but then they change?  I have, there was this boy who I thought was going to be mine one day, but he started changing.  He turned into a slut, it was impossible to be around him without him seeing some girl he'd slept with.  I really began to resent him.

There's a Hole in my Heart Where You Used to be

You Be Tails, I'll be Sonic - A Day to Remember

I've been through some break ups before, and this has always been my all time favorite break up song. It's  kind of a happy break up song (if you need an angry break up song I recommend 1958) with insanely good lyrics. A lot of people go through a break up and listen to very angry or depressing music (if you want a depressing song, End of Me is a good choice), this song is good because it puts you in a good mood and it's more upbeat than a typical break up song.

If You Love My Chemical Romance, This is the Blog for You

I have to say kudos to another blog that loves MCR as much as I do. Even better, Frank Iero is their favorite member as well, so they are obviously a cool person. This blogger user posts their discography, talks about the band (mainly Frank), posts pictures and videos, and more. Seriously. Why are you still reading this??? Go check them out
now!!!

See. Frank Iero is a babe -->

If you like what we're doing here you should check out We are the Parafamily.

They have the meaning behind every Paramore song.  They know their shit.  They also post all Paramore interviews and have photos of the day.  They are dedicated fans.

They have 100s of quotes from each band member. This page has helped with a lot of my research for this blog.  Thanks and keep up the great work!!

Shout Out to an Awesome Blog!

If you like this blog, check out Kinsey's blog - http://kinseylimpfy.blogspot.com/2013/10/a-day-to-remember-common-courtesy-album.html!

It's another blog about music that includes concert pictures, CD reviews and much more. I really like the background picture the blog has and the voice the author has. It's worth checking out, just trust me on this one. It has a large variety of music to learn about. I also really like that this blog posts often. Not everyday, but often enough to create anticipation until the next post. It links videos to a lot of the posts and gives you good resources to check out if you want to know more about a band, or a specific song.

I might be a little bias about this blog because it has posts about my favorite band, A Day to Remember, but even if they didn't it is still worth checking out. Like I said trust me, and take the time to check it out.

You Take the Breath Right Out of Me

I can genuinely say that I love every song by Breaking Benjamin. I listen to several of their songs every day and never tire of them. "Breath" is the third song on their third album, Phobia. Maybe it's because my favorite number is three (third song, third album), but this song is just so powerful. On multiple different charts, it rated highly, including becoming the band's first number-one hit single, where it stayed for seven weeks. Phobia also features "Had Enough," "Topless," "Diary of Jane," "Until the end," and "Evil Angel." I honestly can't pick a favorite album. I would literally kill to see them live or even just to meet Benjamin Burnley. Benjamin's voice is so unique and strong. Not only does he write beautiful, intelligent music, but he's very talented performing as well. As stated by another user on blogger, "True rock music may be

The Infected by Four Year Strong

In Some Way, Shape or Form album
As your average music listener, I'm just trying to find music with good, inspiring lyrics, but that are tied to a good beat. They are incomplete without each other. I find this task to be somewhat difficult to do, but Four Year Strong is a band with good lyrics and a happy upbeat melody. Sometimes people call their music genre "Melodic Hardcore."

To the contrary of my usual music taste, Four Year Strong's lyrics are often about relationships. I usually tend to stay away from relationship songs because they are often mushy gushy or extremely bitter. Bitter appeals to me, but in songs it often comes off whiny or like someone just needs to grow some balls and get over it. I like Four Year Strong because they are never bitchy, and even if the song is about a breakup it still is a cheery song to sing along to.

Love Happens all the Time

Hate to see Your Heartbreak -Paramore

This song is about watching a friend go through heartbreak.  Nobody wants to watch it happen.  It's a painful thing to just sit back and watch happen.  Hayley wrote this song with a dear friend in mind.  In an interview she was asked about how this song came about, this is what she said.
"There's a helpless feeling when your friend's going through life and they're sad. We've all been friends for so long and it's really strange to think about all the things we've been going through things together as I do now. So I think it was a new vulnerability we were all willing to show each other. That took me by surprise."

Leto Me Touch You All Over

ELEVEN REASONS TO BE IN LOVE WITH JARED LETO

(aka the singer of the band 30 seconds to mars and an actor)

REASON NUMBER ONE:

do i really need to say anything about this picture?

Top Nine Rise Against Lyrics

Rise Against is one of my favorite bands, with some of the most amazing lyrics. They write songs that are inspirational but sometimes controversial. Here are a few of my lyrics from their songs. Enjoy!

Brendon Urie's Top Seven Vines

The app vine has allowed us to see another side of Panic! at the Disco's front man Brendon Urie. Through their lyrics, concerts, and interviews we could all tell Brendon was a little out there.  If you didn't believe it, his vine has proved it.  Filled with all kinds of silly six second videos of him.  I went through all 217 of them and picked what I believe to be the 7 best.

Thank you to the Brendon Urie Vine YouTube page for providing me with these videos

I'm Far From Lonely

ALL THAT I'VE GOT-THE USED

"I'll be just fine Pretending I'm not I'm far from lonely And it's all that I've got"

WE'RE ALL PRETENDING TO BE OKAY AND THAT'S NOT OKAY

"What's wrong?" "I'm fine." Why? This is so GOD DAMN ANNOYING. Just fucking tell your boyfriend that you're pissed off because he's a TOTAL DOUCHER. Some people just need to shut the fuck up about their lives, though. Ain't no one give a shit. Moral of the story? Don't be a passive-aggressive twat and don't be a whiny little bitch.

I'm Still Caged Inside

Animal I Have Become- Three Days Grace

"Help me believe it's not the real me Somebody help me tame this animal"

We're all Monsters

Have you ever felt like a monster? Like something you have done is unforgivable, and you knew it was a terrible thing to do but you chose to do it anyways? It's as if you have quite literally become an animal. This is not an uncommon feeling, I believe that it is something most people feel at some point in their lives.

Steal a Kiss in the Dark

Love Like War-All Time Low Ft. Vic Fuentes

"Make a wish on our sorry little hearts.  Have a smoke, pour a drink, steal a kiss in the dark."

We're Nothing but Trouble

I personally find this song hard to relate with.  It's a GREAT song, I'm not trying to say otherwise.  But I haven't been in a toxic relationship.  Especially an on again off again one.  When relationships end there is always a reason.  Usually this reason won't ever change, so any further chances this relationship has are doomed from the start.
